My first wedding of the year was a brilliant one, and what better way to start than as the Wedding DJ for Debz and Mal’s celebration on Canvey Island.
From the moment I arrived, I could feel the excitement in the room. This was one of those weddings where everyone was ready to dance before the lights were even dimmed, and they didn’t disappoint!
The First Dance
Debz and Mal chose the timeless “Something About the Way You Look Tonight” by Elton John as their first dance. A perfect, heartfelt choice that filled the room with emotion and love.
The Party
As soon as the last note of the first dance faded, it was time to get the celebration started, and the guests absolutely stormed the dancefloor. From disco and Motown classics to soulful anthems and a touch of pop magic, the energy never dropped all night long.

Every song hit perfectly, with plenty of smiles, laughter, and hands in the air. It was one of those classic Essex wedding parties that remind me exactly why I love what I do.
A Perfect Start to the Year
Canvey Island has such a great community feel, and this wedding captured that perfectly, full of warmth, laughter, and joy from start to finish.
