Stacey & James’ Roslin Beach Hotel Wedding
A Perfect Day by the Essex Seaside
Last week I had the absolute pleasure of being the Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies for Stacey and James’ beautiful celebration at the Roslin Hotel in Thorpe Bay, Southend-on-Sea.
The Roslin Hotel is one of Essex’s most elegant coastal wedding venues, a modern, light-filled space right on the seafront, and it looked stunning in the early spring sunshine.
This wedding felt extra special to me, as I’ve been part of this family’s celebrations before, I was the DJ for Stacey’s sister’s wedding five years ago, and her best friend’s two years ago. It’s always an honour to be invited back to play such an important role in another chapter of their story.
The Ceremony
I was booked for my Full Day Wedding DJ Service, which included ceremony music production, master of ceremonies duties, and the evening party.

The atmosphere was filled with warmth and emotion, and as the weather was unusually mild for February, Stacey and James were able to step outside for some stunning beach photos just across from the venue.
The Wedding Breakfast & Speeches
Breaking from tradition, Stacey and James chose to have their speeches and toasts before the wedding breakfast, a lovely trend that’s becoming more and more popular. It means everyone can relax and enjoy the meal without any nerves lingering.
The team at The Roslin Hotel then turned the room around seamlessly for the evening celebration.

A Night to Remember at The Roslin
Being a Wedding DJ in Essex gives me the chance to work at so many beautiful venues, and The Roslin Hotel always delivers a special kind of magic, modern elegance, incredible staff, and the sound of the sea just outside.
