Paula & Simon’s Wedding at Forrester Park, Maldon
A Fun-Filled Essex Celebration Full of Love and Music
On Friday 25th August, I had the pleasure of being the Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies for my old work colleague Simon and his beautiful bride Paula at the stunning Forrester Park Golf Club in Maldon, Essex.
It was my first time performing at this charming Essex venue, and I was incredibly impressed by how smoothly everything ran. The staff were brilliant, the setting was perfect, and the atmosphere throughout the day was full of love, laughter, and celebration.
The Ceremony
As part of my All-Day Wedding DJ Package, I provided music production for the ceremony itself. Paula and Simon chose a lovely set of songs that reflected their personalities perfectly:

After the ceremony, I carried on my hosting role as Master of Ceremonies, making sure the day stayed relaxed, organised and full of fun — right through to the toasts and speeches.
The Evening Party
As the sun went down, we moved into the evening reception, and what a party it was! Paula and Simon’s first dance was to Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”, a timeless favourite that set the tone beautifully for the night ahead.
From there, the dancefloor was full all evening with a fantastic mix of soul, disco, rock, and pop classics.
