A Day Full of Love, Laughter and Dancing

What a weekend of weddings it was, and it began in style on Friday at the stunning De Vere Theobalds Estate in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, where I had the pleasure of being Sarah and James’s Wedding DJ and Master of Ceremonies.

I first met the couple at another wedding earlier in the year, and from the moment we started chatting, I knew this was going to be a fun, music-filled celebration. They booked my Wedding Breakfast & Evening Party Package, which meant I was there from the moment they arrived after their church ceremony right through to the final dance of the night.

The Wedding Breakfast

This package includes everything from hosting duties and introductions to background music and a few interactive moments to keep the day flowing. We had a wedding first dance sweepstake, my popular Pearls of Wisdom advice cards, and plenty of laughter throughout.

It’s always such a joy to guide couples and their guests through the day, helping everything feel relaxed and personal.

The First Dances

Sarah and James chose “Say You Won’t Let Go” by James Arthur for their first dance, a song that perfectly captured their story.
Afterwards, Sarah shared a touching dance with her dad, Geoff, to “Yellow” by Coldplay, a beautiful and emotional moment that had everyone smiling.

The Evening Party

Once the formalities were done, it was time to hit the dancefloor, and this crowd did not disappoint! From soul and Motown classics to UK Garage, festival anthems, and timeless 70s and 80s hits, the energy never dipped all night.

We finished on two perfect closing tracks:

It was the ideal way to end an unforgettable day, surrounded by friends, family, and a packed dancefloor.
